Joy is the focus of the second Sunday of Advent. The Old Testament book of Nehemiah was written to a small remnant of God's people, alerting them to powerful counter-cultural truths. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Joy is found by those who trust God, obey His commands, and participate in His work. ~
