Prophets are people divinely inspired to proclaim God's message to a particular place and time. The last book of the Old Testament is a prophetic book composed in a unique interrogatory style. Malachi condemns the people of Israel for their lethargic spirituality. And the prophet condemns the priests for affirming religious practices that were destructive of the community and theologically indifferent. ~
