The gospel of Mark recounts that as Jesus left Jericho on His way to Jerusalem, a blind man shouted, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Even a blind man could see that Jesus was the true descendent of king David. Even a blind man could recognize He was the rightful ruler of God's people. Even a blind man wanted to see Jesus.
